How many people here have played this and understand it is more than just a remake of the original Mega Man?

Well if you were to play it for one you have the original game yes. But you have a whole new game too. There are new levels at the end of each the bosses from the original have new attacks. Kind of like desperation attacks somewhat. There are two new bosses Time Man and Oil Man.

A well known feature is the ability to create your own levels. A lesser known feature is playing as the bosses or through wireless internet connection the ability to play as Proto Man or Roll in her original outfit or various costumes including her Mega Man 8 costume.

So the game is more than a remake and deserves a sequel but because so many people thought of it as a simple remake and didn't purchase it due to that it may never happen. :cry

Actually, it's more a problem of poor system choice. The PSP is nowhere near as popular as the DS; as such, neither MMPU nor Maverick Hunter X got much recognition or many sales.

I guess your right mainly because even I have more DS games than PSP games. Also you are right MMPU and MMMHX didn't get a lot of publicity. You know what they should have done is put Mega Man Powered Up blows up your dirty laundry on the bags at the laundry mat. Yep that sells at least it works for some TV shows. :rollin
