Merry Christmas from Roger Wilco!

#1 Post by Broomie » Wed Dec 09, 2009 9:32 pm

When he's not unclogging toilets and thwarting Sarien scum, Roger Wilco likes to take time during the holidays and open up a few presents to get in the festive spirit.

I saw it yesterday. It was awesome! It's really, really a pity that your Space Quest II remake belongs to the golden era of Sierra, because I would love to see that cheesy acting in a remake in the spirit of those FMV-ridden adventures that sprout soon after the CD became mainstream.

AGD2's present was great, but Jensen's was the best. hahaha. :rollin

Looked funny but I could only watch the first minute or so, far too cheesy for me lol!

Looking forward to the remake tho!

Hahaha! ha.. haha. I like this. I'm sure I was double parked, though. :D

That box at the end looks quite authentically delicious! Really nice layout and design. Hope we'll get to see it in more detail!

The guy has the perfect look for Roger Wilco! Good job!

By the way, what was AGD2's present? And who is Jensen? Jane Jensen? I'm lost!

Jane Jensen was the designer of the Gabriel Knight series and co-designed King's Quest VI. For someone who came up with a pretty intensive Sierra quiz I would have thought you'd have known that.

AGD2's present was an unpaid parking ticket that's name had been changed to Roger's so he would be the one who had to pay it off. The whole point of the video is that all the major Sierra designers all have an animosity towards Roger, it's slightly based off the Scott Murphy interview where all the Sierra employees only had bad things to say about the SQ series. It's all jokes of course and everyone likes to give Roger a bad time.

Glad you all liked it!
