Adding voice to old sierra VGA and copy right permission ?

#1 Post by cyberdalekyeti » Fri Feb 18, 2011 4:29 pm

I would like it if someone could make voice packs to old sierra VGA games. So i am Just wondering about the copy right permission is it ok to only make voice packs to old sierra VGA games?

In my opinion i think it should be ok because the voice packs would only work if you already have the VGA games.

To bad i don't know how to make a voice pack.

It's impossible to make a voice pack for the classic VGA games in their own engine without taking as much work (if not more) to reverse engineer the engine, re-script the game logic, and add support for voice playback as it would remaking the game from scratch in AGS. It's not worth it.
