They aren't really new... I just cropped and rearranged them to make them a bit smaller. I don't use the standard AGDI theme, so I don't normally see them. But during the switch, I was looking at them frequently, and they bugged me.... heh.  ;)

Are you keeping the bg light grey or making it white?

EDIT: For the AGDI Theme

I use the QFG2 layout and I don't see any difference. The birthday icon is certaintly out of place, though.

Here's a suitable replacement:

Anyone here know where you can get the casino slot games? You know, like 50 Lions, Cleopatra etc etc??? My GF is starting to like those games too much, and unless I find the games somewhere we'll be broke before the wedding.  :p

I've added Visual Confirmation to the AGDI guestbook in order to get rid of annoying spam messages. No one has made an entry since I implemented it. Can a few of you sign the guestbook to test it out for me?

Just tested it.

Btw, while you're working I think you oughta check out the PM's page. The text is very hard to read so something's gone wrong in the CSS.

Anyway, cool visual confirmation. At least it's easy to read and not like Hotmail where they feel the need to add random shapes in between the letters and numbers so you get it wrong most of the time.

PM page looks fine to me.

BTW Love Sin City only watched it a month or so ago on my PSP!

The PM page for the QFG2VGA theme is not correct. I'll have a look at it.

I should have mentioned it was on the QFG2VGA theme.

And Angelus, if you thought watching Sin City on your PSP was great, watch it on your actual TV and you'll be blown away even more. The effect are amazing, first thing I'm watching once the 42" Plasma arrives. :)

I was just looking at different press releases reguarding the new Al Emmo game, and found this on a Hungarian site..

HC.Gamer

http://www.hcgamer.hu/gamer/index.php?p ... =1&tores=1

Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine interjú:

"...HCG: When will the game be released?

BB: 2005..."

HA!!  okay, enough fun.   :p   Still looking forward to it.

Beta phase of that game may not be more than a few days away, actually.

I'M BACK!

Finally I fixed my computer at last. My power supply blew up one day and than I replaced it only to find the heat sink on my mother board was vbroken. I fixed the motherboard and when I went to turn on my computer the new power supply exploded! Flames were in my face as I was turning it on while kneeling behiend it and I actually damaged my left eye. I bought a brand new power supply which worked but my internet was still gone as was my sound so I replaced the mother board and all is well. Sorry I couldn't notify you guys that I had gone but it was quite sudden and when it blew up the first time it scared me good.

Anyways Life is pretty much the same for me. Semester 1 of Grade 11 is almost over and my girlfriend is really stressed about the exams and what not. I personally have retained my honor roll score which is amazing beyond belief for me.

I'm working at the ski resort again this season but failed my certification course for instructing (legally that is) My manager was so upset that she called the CASI (Canadian Asscosiation of Snowboard Intructors) representitive of my province and told them I was more qualified than most that passed and my instructor was out of line by failing half of us. Me and the others are now getting free retesting done and the representative is calling us for a statement of what happened in the 3 day course. If I provide proper points and give a good explanation I'll get my certification on the spot! Sure the delay sucks but atleast I'm not paying the course fee again.

Other than that nothing is really new. My mom got an Ipod mini or nano or something and it's 4GB for christmas and I got Prince of Persia 1-3 I was almost done the first one but I bought Ultimate Spiderman so 2 and 3 have not left the package. in other news I really like the way this forum came around and the new things about it are awesome, I decided this would be the first place for me to visit now that my computer is brand new and has nothing on it.

Later,
Rob "QFGF" Di Rocco

Good to see you back Quest For Glory Fan.  I've never heard of a power supply exploding, let alone twice on you!  Too many cords plugged in or something?  Possibly a faulty power supply?  How's your eye, by the way?  Good luck on getting your certifation paper.  And as for Ultimate Spiderman, I thought it wasn't too bad.  It definately brought out a comic book feel to the game, yet I felt it didn't have as many things as in Spiderman 2.

My eye is ok now but I had a hard time keeping it open fora couple days so I looked like I had downsyndrome. I really hope I get the paper because it was a 3 day course that was $300 and doing it agian is just infuriating. I feel Ultimate Spiderman to be the same as Spiderman 2 just cellshaded and simpler, not to mention longer and with a better story. It has the feel of Spiderman 2 but looks like XIII. All in all I'm pretty impressed and life is shaping up well.

Great article! Hopefully this will lead to even more exposure for AGDI and Himalaya Studios.

Regarding QFG2 forum THEME

#45 Post by The Avatar » Tue Jan 24, 2006 9:19 pm

Wow.. I hadn't tried anything other than the AGDI theme before now..

My dragon is normally clutched to a snowy mountain.. but he seems to be fairing this desert climate quite nicely :)

Excellent work on the Forums!  Hoorah!

Quote of the day (My companie's IS manager wrote this in an email to me when I asked him about our old surplus computers):
I've sold the computers for $10 each in the past, but if you buy in quantity, I'll make you a good deal.

My good deal ended up being 8 Pentium III's, a server computer (largest computer I've ever seen), 9 monitors, 9 keyboards, and 9 copies of Win NT workstation for $100.00.

Seeing as I sold five of the computers and monitors to my kids' daycare for $100.00 already, I'd say I made out pretty good. :)

Heh, now I know what to ask for MY computer, which (albeit dear to me) is also a Pentium 3 and possibly about as old as the additions to your collection. I'm not about to get rich anytime soon. :p

ya know the whole sequence in  King's Quest VI where you need to make death cry, and if you click the boring book on death, it makes a reference to "boring him to tears" not being the intent?  Well, Systematic Theology 1 would definetly be enough to make death cry.  Sitting in a class for almost 2 hours, listening to a man with a monotone British accent read all 19 articles from the Chicago Statement of Inerrancy (yeah, i don't get it either ...), I think Death himself would be begging for mercy.

just felt like saying that.
