isn't this already on wiiware? The Wii has really been about old games all along though. You'd think they'd atleast add Supermario RPG to the disk though.

The original NES games are on Wiiware, but the SNES All-Stars remakes cartridge is not.

Whoohoo!! Sony has made an epic fail and mathematically leaked their private crypto keys for PS3 and PSP so know any homebrew can be signed and executed on PS3 and PSP with NO modifications hardware or software wise the OS will just think the code has been signed by Sony themselves. Sony have still not commented on the situation at all but I bet someone got a right earfull at HQ!

Step 1 of crypto... use a freaking random number everytime you encrypt something!!!

Ahh so funny... here's hoping for a PS3 port of ScummVM now!

In other news I recently bought Costume Quest and the DLC Grubbins on Ice by Double Fine, awesome game can't wait for more DLC, highly recommend it!

Also finally got round to buying Brutal Legend (yes Brainy I couldn't be bothered to find the umlaut!) was a steal at under £10!

Also picked up the Sly Cooper Trilogy which is great but been spending most of my gaming time with "Project Ishmael" a private Sony beta, can't wait to buy the full game once it comes out in April!

What have you been playing this holiday?

I heard about the PS3 getting cracked. Apparently all you need to do is load some stuff onto a flash drive and plug it into the PS3 as it boots up. I'm gonna wait to see if there are any dangers before I try it. I doubt there are any, though. This will be fun!

The files on a flash drive thing sounds like the existing jailbreak method, you need a specific USB dongle or compatible device like iPod you cant use a generic flash drive as the code emulates a 6 port USB hub which a normal USB drive cannot do, this method has been around since September.

What I'm talking about is the signing keys have been leaked so you dont even need to boot into a jailbroken mode, any PS3 running standard firmware without any modifications can now run homebrew applications as long as they are signed with the Sony key and like I said the PS3 won't know the difference from it being signed by Sony itself and so will just run it.

For example say in a few months you'll be able to download a ScummVM PS3 port Put it on a standard USB flash drive and just install it from the XMB as if it were a PSN game without making any changes or hacks to your PS3!

So what's your excuse for forgetting an apostrophe? :p

Oh, and before I forget... <takes away Ang's horrible cold> (thankyou - Ang ;))

As to the PSP cracking, I look forward to being able to run editing software like LionEditor and CWCheat without custom firmware; there are some modifications I'd like to make to several of my PSP games (FFT: War of the Lions being high on the list).

I finally fixed the problem I had with Mystic Mine, yoo-hoo!! This game is terribly addictive. I've spend the day playing with my nephews. :D

Too bad the registered version is 20$. I have too many expenses to buy it this month. :cry

This game must be mine. :p

I've started playing Magicka this week and it's @#%ing fantastic. You guys should buy it and/or add me to steam. Think Loom if it were combat based and multiplayer.

There is nothing new under the sun.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Forty years after its original release, The Oregon Trail comes to the 3DS.

Does this count as part of the nostalgia boom?

Well, crap.

Something is strange, though. North American release June 14th and international release June 10th? Why does international get it earlier?

Heh-heh-heh. C'mon, MI, it just wouldn't be right for there not to be another delay for DNF. Plus, you've got to give Gearbox credit for getting in front of the flood of trolling they're about to experience.

Nothing can compell you to keep buying every single console that comes out of Japan if you don't want to, right? At least, no external factors can compell you to. :p

You can't really be mad when they replace a 4 year old console. Also the PS3 supposedly still has 6 years to go, although I doubt it.
