Actually, no I never did. Things got pretty hectic and I kind of forgot that I had it. I'll have to make sure that I check it out now that I've been reminded. Now if I can only remember where I put it on my hard drive...

I got to the place where you're supposed to go into the doctor's office, but it wouldn't let me. Bug in the program, it seems, since I did everything else and even resorted to a walkthru.

Did anyone else have this problem? Maybe I should try playing the game again, from the beginning.

I downloaded it a long while ago when they made it freeware. Before it was freeware, I could never get very far because it always crashed in a certain spot. Maybe now I'll try the CD version and hope it works for me. I just gotta find some time. Always wanted to play this one.

If you downloaded it from the www.scummvm.org website then you also need to download ScummVM which is a game emulator to play it with.

Get ScummVM <a href="http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scum ...

And get the BASS from <a href="http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scum ...

That is the CD version 67MB so I recommend you get that if you aint already.

You can also get Flight of the Amazon Queen full CD version for free there to, which you must also play on ScummVM grab that from <a href="http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scum ...

Enjoy! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Visit Eternal Anubis - A work in Progres by Vamp.

Thanks, Angelus! Seems like a good game so far and the speech is impressive for the small file size.

Man, that must be the worst voice acting this side of... the guy who played Steve Dorian in Dagger of Amon Ra. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes">

Thanks for the link. I thought the voice acting in BASS was really good especially considering the small file size, I had no probs with it when I played it.

I also have the original BASS and FOTAQ CD's in my collection!!

Visit Eternal Anubis - A work in Progres by Vamp.
"These chicks don't even know the name of my bandBut they're all on me like they wanna hold handsCause once I blow they know that I'll be the manAll because I'm the lead singer of my band."

Oh yeah. The voice acting in BASS is (mostly) fine. I was talking about FOTAQ. And it's not the audio quality, either. I'm impressed that they got all the dialog into a few dozen megabytes. It's the voice actors. They're absolutely awful.

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
