Does this make me a creep?
Years ago when I was in High School (don't remember which year) I was sitting on one of the school planters reading "Calvin and Hobbes." Anyway, while I was reading somebody sat next to me and a high pitched voice said in a rather annoying tone, "hi." I didn't even look up. I just kept reading. The intruder then said, "Oh, would you rather be alone?" I just kept reading. Finally she said, "Okay good-bye." I just kept reading.
Anyway, my sister thinks that I'm a creep for that. What do YOU think?

It was HIGH SCHOOL!
I said it was High School. In any case I think she should be the one who's condemned. Taking it upon herself to come up and bother somebody who was just sitting there minding his own buisness.
Have any of you any similar stories to tell?

Yeah, people keep getting bolder and bolder. Paying attention to others, interacting, ewww...
Honestly, I don't think she's the one to be condemned if all she did was say hello. The act of not even bothering to acknowledge someone's presence before you even know what they're up to would personally bother me more, to tell you the truth. Creep, dunno. Rude, most certainly.

Agree with Erpy here. Myself, no matter what I'm doing, if a girl says "hi" to me, I'll acknowledge them. But that's because I'm desperate.Honestly, I don't think she's the one to be condemned if all she did was say hello. In year 7, (first year of secondary school) I was hanging at the top of the stairs with my mates, and they were laughing at all the stuff I was saying, so I was making funny jokes. Then the fittest (or hottest) girl in the year, according to many opinions, came up to me with her friend, her friend said would you go out with her? I wasted one of the greatest oppertunities of my life when I said, no no no I would rather bake a pizza pie.... *silence* Seriously, don't ask me what the hell I was on to say that. Oh the humilation of the complete crap I had just said. Later that girl thought I was a complete weird, but now I don't think she remembers, although I'm not interested anymore.
THAT'S DISGUSTING! Someone get a book of LAW to throw at them!Yeah, people keep getting bolder and bolder. Paying attention to others, interacting, ewww...
Anyway, the flowery tone of voice and fact that she sat right next to me gave me reason to think that she was looking for companionship. I say: get a hamster. Was it rude? Of course. But I still think it was rude to go and bother me as well.
