Bye bye sweet chariot...

#1 Post by Angelus3K » Tue Sep 07, 2004 10:12 am

Today Vamp and I put the car in for its annual M.O.T. and it FAILED!! So now we have NO car!!

We find out later on today how much it will cost to fix but even if we can afford that the fix will only be temporary (as the chasis has rusted) and we will have to buy a new car.

So we will be penniless beggers, thank god this forum is free (plus all the games I can download)!

That sucks. Granted, bicycle and public transport can sometimes help out, but it's not nearly as flexible. Here's hoping you can extend the life of your car a little bit. :(

Hmmm, freeware games aside, most of those games aren't really free. They're just often taken without being paid for. But I'm getting OT.

Yea lol I was just joking, I of course meant the lovely free games such as KQ1VGA, KQ2VGA and errr Doom III (ahem).

We're just off to see the guy to see how much it will cost to repair the car we're expecting around £200-£400 so hopefully it will be around that.

I know how you feel. My car failed emissions inpection last month since it was burning oil. I've been working on a valve job and replacing the piston rings this last week. It's a big job, but at least I have the knowledge and tools to do it myself, instead of having to pay someone else to do it.

Anyway, best of luck. Hope you get it going again soon. :)

navynuke writes "Top Secret - AGDI QFG2VGA Demo" on the CD-R he just copied...

... laughs to himself as he imagines the look on The Knights face when he realizes the CD was actually full of images of dancing bananas
