Does anyone know the best way to convert Divx and/or Xvid to MPEG to be played on DVD Players and any programs which allow you to create DVD menus that allow you to choose which MPEG file it plays.

Why not create a VCD. Then you don't need to convert!?! Then it is pretty simple to create the menus.

Thanks for the advice Gron but

A) That kinda defeats the object of me buying a DVD Writer

B) When you convert a 700MB Divx file to MPEG2 its gonna be over 1GB+ which wouldnt fit on a CD.

C) Wouldnt making navigation menus be the same process whether the media was CD or DVD?

I've had that for years, also got DVD Decrypter, CloneDVD and AnyDVD!

I'm covered where burning is concerned, just need to find out how to convert Divx into DVD files and a program to make some DVD menus.

Thanks though, Nero definetly is a must have!
