i just got off the phone with my mom ... she had to have our 15 year old cat, Dumpsey, put to sleep. of course, she doesn't call and tell me when it happened, she waits several days until i call .... she was the best kitty ever, she really was.

I remember when my parents had my cat put to sleep, I was mad at them for a long time. Spikey, you should put another one of those hug emoticons on here for her.

Steffi do you work in the portopotie industry? Cause you just catch a lot of crap all the time. I remeber when I was somewhere between 8-9 and my cat was put to sleep although since my dad was a cheep italian that he is he squeezed all the money me and my brothers had out of us for a "miracle operations" he never got

I was 16. My dog had gotten really old, and was quite deaf. He liked to lay under my truck. I ended up backing over him, which severely injured him. Both my parents were gone, but I managed to get hold of them on their cell phone. I ended up having to take him to the vet and having him put down. I felt horrible.

I had to have my rabbit put down in 2003 because she paralyzed her hindquarters in some way.
Anyway, I'm sorry to hear that, Steffi. You have my symphaties.
