Half-Life 2
Wow.
Bought the HL2/ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro combo for $399.99 CAD. Aside from not having enough RAM and a lot of freezing every now and then to load the level or sounds or something, this game is gourgeous. I hope when I get more RAM I'll be able to play with full quality! I notice they stuck a few of the music tracks from HL1 into the sequel. Nice touch .
Get this.

I will be! It was cracked even before the retail release! Mwhahahaha!
You have to authenticate the game on Steam before you can play it but when the crack emulates Steam you dont even need Steam installed!
EDIT: Thats not to imply that I wont be buying it, just pointing out that futile attempts at anti-piracy always seem to fail.
The game was leaked/cracked/being played before retail.

I played a demo of HL1 and i loved it. Ever since than i have wanted to get HL2 but i only have: 500MHZ-processer 128MB-RAM 10GB-hard drive(but it's now only got 3 GB) and a 16MB-video card....i MUST get a new com if i can get one for only 400$.

You need at least a 1.2 ghz to run HL2. And I don't think you can get a system good enough for HL2 for only $400. That was for the video card alone for me. I still need more RAM though! I have this horrible freezing/pausing/choppy problem. The framerate is fine but I think it's when it plays new sounds in the level or something the game freezes up for a second and soudns repeat over and over until it loads whatever it is it's loading and then it continues again. REALLY sucks when you're running away from people. I'm guessing it's a RAM problem. It recommends 512Mb RAM and I only have 256Mb, so...

Its always cheaper if you buy the parts then build your own PC. Its not as hard as people might think.Uhanimar wrote:LOL well i have seen them in some magazines....i have seen some really good coms for about $400 believe it or not.MusicallyInspired wrote:You need at least a 1.2 ghz to run HL2. Yeah thats true....my aunt is a computer person and all of the coms we have are from her....i could make one.
I tryed to make a computer that would not be very good but i could do some things on it but it didn't work....really, making computers is about as easy as working with legos....you just have to be more carefull.
