Still can't locate stew bowl

I too am having a hard time finding the stew bowl, I printed your map of
Daventry, I'm at the correct screen, but no blue bowl at base of left tree.
Every where in this screen I move, look and use my hand to retreive yields nothing, most time it gives me comments about the scenery, and not being able to move the rocks or that I don't need the scrubs....it's frustrating.  What am I doing wrong.  I have restarted the game numerous times, to follow a specific order of item retrieval, still it doesn't work.  HELP, PLEASE.  Thanks
