Running KQ 1 With Multiple Users in Windows XP Home

#1 Post by SA Jack » Sun Jul 08, 2007 8:49 pm

Is was great to find that these great games were now available again.  I downloaded and installed KQ 1 and everything is great.  I would like my son to be able to play on his own user account, but when I moved the  "Programs" folder from my account to "All Users", create a shortcut to the desktop, and attempt to start; it gives an error message that it can't access a particular folder to write to.  I assume that folder is under Docs & Settings associated with my account and is in the registry somewhere.  Is there a workaround to allow my son to play under his own user account?   Thanks for your help on this.  SA Jack

I thought the games installed into C:\Program Files\Tierra\... and therefore could be played by anyone.
