It's at <a href="http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin ... .

I didn't notice this before, but it seems that my review is suddenly the only one in the King's Quest (VGA version) section. (there used to be another one from someone who confused VGA with EGA)

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nasha ...

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub57.ezboard.com/broyalquestfor ... py>Erpy at: 9/9/02 5:06:41 am

I didn't get it either at first. Dan Quale was the vice-president of Bush senior. (You've found a bush, but there's no quail in the game.)

Makes sense?

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashw ...

You missed some

#54 Post by Renodox » Wed Oct 23, 2002 2:00 am

I noticed that though you added a few extra easter eggs you also missed some. In the original versions if you try to eat the walnut without opening it you get a message that says: "Ouch! Maybe you should try opening it first."

Also you can coount your fingers after the rat takes the cheese.

Finally you get different messages for trying to drink the water in caves.

Sorry to critisize but I thought that'd be interesting.

Do you mean I missed some in my FAQ or we missed some in the remake?

The finger count is pretty much a parser-exclusive joke, so it'd be hard including it in a point & click game.

About the water in the caves, clicking the hand on the water at the bottom of the well already makes you dive and the dripping water is nearly impossible to pinpoint with any cursor.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashu ...

Missing Easter Eggs

#56 Post by Renodox » Wed Oct 23, 2002 10:10 am

I mean in the remake. I understand the loss but I noticed that few people found them anyway. See, I found that if you type "Drink Water" or "Drink Puddle" while in caves it gives some interesting messages. Anyway I thought it'd be easy enough to try the hand thing on puddles but no go.

Actually there is one interesting "typing only" easter egg I recently heard about: at any point in the game type "Who, What, Where, Why, or When" at any time and you'll get a funny message.

Bla, that's too rare.. I knocked on that door, left the screen, came back, and knocked again 113 times (yes, I counted) and didn't get it to occur. Gave up. Too bad that statistically, a 1 in 100 chance doesn't mean that it will definitely happen once in every hundred attempts! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":(">

I believe that it says this on the 2nd page, farlander. Sorry, they announced it before, hehe. I know that in the walkthrough (I didn't use it, I swear!) says "a guest appearance" or something like that.
Summer on the Viking Farm

Is this something that's determined when the character enters the screen, such that a saved game at that point would be useful? Do you see it every time when you restore to that point and knock? If so I'd like to give it a go, could you send the sg to me? (voroseth @ yahoo.com)

It took me quite a while to see the batman cameo in KQ2+VGA. And in KQ1, I never got to see Leisure Suit Larry at all!! Hopefully it will be easier to get that easter egg in the new 3.0 version
Diego J. Saw LSL

#66 Post by RR2033 » Wed Mar 24, 2004 7:46 pm

I saw Leisure Suit Larry come out of one of the doors. He just walks by Graham and he comments something to the effect that LS Larry look femiliar and looks out of place.
