Please Help! Game won't load

When I click on the menu to start the game, it minimizes the game to my task bar and I return to my desktop. When I click on it to bring it back up, it tries to load, but again, minimizes and returns me to my desktop. I had the game operating once and saved it, but now, I can't get it to work again. I have 1-3 and only 1 isn't working. Is there any way to fix this?
Update: As a last attempt to solve the problem before uninstalling and trying again, I rebooted my computer. I got it to work again. I thought I'd post this update in case anyone else may have this problem. Rebooting seems to do the trick in this situation.
