Erpy's Quote:

Quote:
Yes, you have to move Graham somewhere, but the "right" area consists of about 40% of the total walkable area of that particular screen.

TiMMMMMMMMMaY Quote:

Quote:
i new exactly what erpy was talking about when you could only walk on 40% of the screen

Erpy did not say you could only walk on 40% of the screen. He said the right spot you needed to be to trigger the egg is 40% of the total walkable area on the screen.
The Knight

"I see in your eyes, the same fear that would take the heart of me.
A day may come when the courage of men fails.
When we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship but it is not this day.
This day we fight!"

I'm too lazy/busy to go through the game right now to find it. Seeing that multiple people have found it, I could also just give it out.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashs ...

Easter egg

Yes. Please give it out ( because I'm getting MAD!) . Or you could just update your FAQ, if you don't want to give it here.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

It's a pity it was found already, btw. I intended to change the death message if it wasn't found before the new version came out. (IF we'd make a new version to reflect the name change)

In order to trigger the egg, get the goat and visit the screen east of the elf lake. Stand on the eastern side of the screen, not too far south. Click the carrot on Graham. Presto! a new meaning to the saying "being the butt of the joke".

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashh ...

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub57.ezboard.com/broyalquestfor ... py>Erpy at: 1/4/04 12:53 pm

ARGH! I thought I stood everywhere on that screen and clicked the carrot on Graham.
The Knight

"I see in your eyes, the same fear that would take the heart of me.
A day may come when the courage of men fails.
When we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship but it is not this day.
This day we fight!"

I did too, Knight, and I had given up, when I walked onto that screen from the east and clicked the carrot on Graham by accident. Presto! Off I went.

I also had a feeling it was that screen. Oh well. I thought it was MuzlakOofmay who found it first, when I made that comment a few pages back. Because if you look at his posts just before I made that comment, you'll see what I mean in retrospect.

In case you're confused, the goat easter egg they're talking about is from KQI, whereas the batman one is from KQII+.

I don't know how often batman appears but from memory it doesn't take too much entering and exiting the cave screen to trigger it. Maybe 1 in 15?

I belive I know what it is. There is a bush that you use the view command on. It says "There's a Bush in this game but no Quails". Since back in the day George Bush and Dan Quail were Pres/Vice Pres. Am I right?? I remember seeing that in the original game. I was like 12 at the time and I had a nice laugh at it.
