every time i try to slap the seahorse,i remount it.
how do i scare him off?

Are you playing through with the walkthrough? Sometimes when doing that, you get ahead of yourself and miss something. It's possible that you don't need to slap him yet. Is the king Sharkee still on the screen?

Yep... using the walkthrough has gotten you a bit mixed up. Go ahead and go through the door.

I'd recommend putting the walkthrough away. Just save often and you won't have a problem. There aren't any dead-end situations in KQ2VGA.

when i get of the seahorse,and enter the throne room,he follows me,and then i get caught.

[spoiler]He's supposed to follow you. You should enter to the right side, and be hidden behind the wall. You should hear some dialouge between the Sharkee King and his guards. You should also see him open the treasury. Once the Sharkee King has left the screen, you'll want to create a distraction so that you can get the Trident from the treasury. That is when you should slap him.[/spoiler]
