Enchanters cave

I'm past the snake, entered the enchanter's cave.  Have read the book,
but I can't figure out how to make to make the green magic emerald.
I don't have a beaker[spoiler]to put the flower and earrings into, I've managed to figure out using the piece of fence to pry loose cyrstal, but have been unable to make green magic emerald, it's like I can't find the the work station, where to make the magic.  What beaker do I use?  Where is it located?[/spoiler]  I'm stuck.  Please help.  Thanks
