The "Brotherhood" ....

I had a question regarding this "group" who seemingly make their debut in KQ 2. First of who is this "father" character (reminiscient of Darth Sidious from Star wars)? and do these men make any appearances later on in the series (I'm guesing KQ6?) I get the feeling that a seperate and unrelated storyline was introduced into KQ2 (dont get me wrong now I thought it was great...) but unless this is followed up on in continuing remake's of the series these characters just dont make a return am I right?

The Father's actual name is in the game itself. (in one of the books you read) I'm not sure if we'll ever get to the point where more info about his history is given out...only time will tell.
