Hello. I was just noticing that the Count bears a striking resemblance to King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Was this intentional, or just a coincidence?

Intentional. AGD1 lived in Munich for some time and when it was time to draw a portrait for the ruler of Kolyma, a Ludwig II look-a-like seemed very appropriate.
