Hey guys :)

I've been stuck trying to figure out that last point, I've even followed walkthroughs and made checklists of everything, and can't seem to pin point that last elusive point...

I made sure to read all the pieces of papers and books in the library and talk through all the dialogs with all the characters, have all the inventory, including the wolf bane, even made sure the way I killed Hagatha with the 2 pointer way instead of the 1 pointer...

The only thing I can think of is... if I'm loosing a point when the Count takes away my cross necklace?  I know I loose one after he takes away the gem, maybe I'm loosing another one when he takes away the necklace too?

What do you guys think?  where could I be missing that last point?

I'd suggest going over the point list, seeing exactly what have you done and what haven't you.

A bit off-topic here, but do any of the Sierra games (or remakes) reward you for a perfect score (with the exception of the KQ3 remake)?
It always bothered me that all those points are usually for nothing...

No, I dont think there's any long video sequence or something special that happens if you do.. its just the satisfaction of knowing you got a perfect score :P

I went to that link you sent, at the adginteractive.com,  but I couldn't click on any of the things there, as if they weren't actually links... *shrugs* broken maybe?

But like I've said, I have looked at numerous walkthroughs and checklists, and I still can't find anything that I may have missed for that one.. last... elusive point...

Although I did notice some walkthroughs mention killing 3 wolves right after you come out of the church, before you even go into the swamp, but there's only ever been one wolf right after coming out of the church..., and if I use the wolf bane , seems to give more points  , than where I don't use it, and I actually loose points for not using it...

maybe there's some other small nit picky detail , like clicking on someone's portrait or statue or talking to a tree or bush or something that I'm not doing?

KQ6 had a small extra for full points; it told you to try out the other path to the end of the game by entering the castle instead of heading to the Isle of the Mist.

LSL6 had the score counter literally break when you hit 1000, and LSL7 had an easter egg where finding all of the points was one of the prerequisites that had to be met. I can't recall any other Sierra games that did anything out of the ordinary with max points as a criteria (though I remember that PQ1EGA had a bug of sorts that allowed you to get 1 point more than the maximum shown by the game).
