When I look near the fence, it tells me that there is a "curious object near the fence." Can anyone tell me what that's referring to, because I don't see anything "curious" near the fence at all, unless it's referring to the mailbox? Thanks.

Wow, I don't even remember reading that. Maybe it's some kind of egg?

It's the mailbox. It says "curious object" because mailboxes weren't invented yet in that time period.
