Talking to Connor
I've found the following message while trying to talk to Connor during the crowning ceremony. Maybe he was too nervous, or maybe I should have tried talking to me in the half-of-a-second window of opportunity I had instead.

Re: Talking to Connor
Connor knows he shouldn't talk out of turn and ruin the formalities.

Hmm, how did you get the mouth icon in that scene? It should remain on the wait icon until the scene is over.

Yes, lest he suffer the madness of King Graham! Course, that's likely to happen anyway.Gronagor wrote:Connor knows he shouldn't talk out of turn and ruin the formalities.
Re: Talking to Connor
The mouth icon is a leftover from the second test, it's just that there are two very small moments on the crowning scene where the wait icon changes briefly to the active cursor before changing back to the wait icon, and it was set to the mouth after talking with the father. I merely used many tries until I got the timing right to test what would happen.Anonymous Game Creator 2 wrote:Hmm, how did you get the mouth icon in that scene? The exact moments in which the cursor is active (allowing me to talk) are:
1. As soon as you enter the throne room.
2. As soon as Graham touches Connor with the sword for the third time.
These last for half a second or less, so it's obviously a glitch. The first one I could understand, but the second happens at a really weird place, which is why I opened this thread. As the behavior is harmless is more of a curiosity than anything serious.

Re: Talking to Connor
Ah, okay then. I thought that must have been the case.
I'll probably compile a 3.1 release at some point in the future to address the Vista "run as admin" crash issue, as well as making a few other little adjustments. If I do that, I'll fix this glitch as well.
In the non-interactive test screens, I'll disable all of the other cursors except for the wait icon and the arrow pointer.
