The Father (Spoilers)

#1 Post by kturcotte » Sat Apr 11, 2009 1:32 pm

Is the identity of the Father revealed in the KG 3 remake, or is it supposed to be revealed during Silver Lining? If not, who is the Father?

It's actually revealed (or at least hinted at, to be more precise) within KQ2VGA itself. No need to go as far as the KQ3 remake or the Silver Lining project (which are made by other teams, not AGDI, so not much chance of them incorporating such a unique story element into their games).
Just research the background lore lying around the KQ2VGA gameworld. I forget where exactly but the story is out there somewhere.

There's actually zero chance of Wookie's Father storyline being incorporated into TSL.

What exactly is the item he wants from the Crown?

It's not reveiled in KQ2+ what "the Item" is, although it's hinted that it's something the first king of Daventry stored his magic powers in. The crown acts as a compass of some sort, although it can only be used by whoever's rightfully entitled to wear it.

"Item", of course, being an anagram of Time.

Also "Emit".

And "mite" (colloquial for 'tiny').

So, a small wormhole which generates temporal instability. Or not.
