How do I get around error "room 288.asc: line 404
invalid file handle, file not previously opened or has been closed.
Have not had any troble with XP, but Window 7 has been tedious.

Finally solved: Need to "Run as Administrator" EACH time game is opened, and must be run in 1600
X 900 resolution, not changing resolution as recommended.

I suspect it has to be due to you installing the game as an administrator, but I don't have Windows Vista or Windows 7 and I'm totally unfamiliar with that operating system.

Yes, this workaround is also mentioned in the KQ2 Remake FAQ in the Technical Forum. Although, changing the resolution shouldn't affect this.
