How can I blocked the Sharkees...?

I was wondering how can I stop the sharkees for chasing me without getting killed. At what part do I need to go to seal the cave?

I did but I've remember a voice started talking and after he finished before I could do anything the sharkees ate me.

Maybe you should turn the game speed down a bit, then click the trident on the wall as soon as you can.
