AGDInteractive - Sierra Adventure Game Remakes Forum

As soon as I arrived to the top of the tower with the lion, I used the necklace to hypnotize him to get past him, when I did get past him he wasn't hypnotized anymore and when i realized i had to go back i am already by the door, so whenever I try to get past him, he kills me! What should i do? I tried using the Crystal emerald on him, but it wont work! Help! i saved it right after I got past the lion. I am not trying to replay the game all over again.

I remember there was a dead end in that specific spot, but only for the very first release of King's Quest 2. You can check your current version by going to the option menu (where you can adjust game speed) and press the '?' button. If it says a version other than 1.0 then the game should still be winnable.
