I am in the church graveyard looking for the tiara. Larmun Odbard keeps pulling me under? It says he died in 1200?

If the zombie pulls you down you either are excavating in the wrong grave, or you are trying to do something at the wrong time. Maybe you forgot to do something earlier? I personally would prefer if the game let you do this kind of sequence breaking, but then you got less puzzle points at the end. Anyways, good luck. I can't be more helpful because I should replay this game once I get more free time.

Thank you for your help although I can't figure out what I could have missed......I found his note saying he was buried in the wrong grave which sends me to the other graveyard. I did see the bat mobile crash when I got back from the castle and could not find anything after.
