Hmmm...I'll have to send you some email about my exploits. I'm new to all this, having only acquiring a DVD player one month ago -- and already trading it in for a JVC model that reads the SVCD format. I just registered TMPGEnc and the latest version of NeroVision (they work great together -- TMPGEnc is a definite must-have!), and picked up a new TDK CDR/RW drive. If I record direct from my DSS, the results are spectacular!

The one I was really hoping to find is the music that plays when you enter the Tower Realm. (Did I just miss it, or not know what it was called, maybe?) Will that be added to the soundtracks page?

My two favorites are when the Count has Graham pinned and when Hagatha shows up at the end.

*giddy with anticipation* <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

How come it appears tracks are missing(i.e. it goes from track 50 and the one after that is 52.).
The Knight

Re: WISY

I like how WISY turned out. When I first heard it, it reminded me of when I first heard the closing song for KQ6 <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

I have a question though. Little Miss Muffet is listed as the singer, but there sounds like two (different?) female voices at times. Did she sing accompianment to herself, mixed later?
------------------
I think therefore I am ... I think???

Little Miss Muffit is the lead, and most of the harmony as well.

Thanks for the info Tom <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

So, what does "most of the harmony" mean? Was there another singer (Dianne Lewandowski perhaps)?

One more thing... When I load many of your songs into winamp, including WISY, the artist name comes up as "Tom Lewandowki " - missing the "s" near the end. Why?
------------------
I think therefore I am ... I think???

I'll assume you had no downloading glitches, and all bytes transfered correctly from the server to your PC.

Of the 15,000+ downloads of the KQ2 music pack, yours is the first I've heard of it "not working". Based on that, I would definitely conclude it's a problem with either your soundcard, a corrupted music.vox file, or both. If you've downloaded any of the individual "Ogg files" from Quest Studios, and they work, then I doubt it's a problem with your sound card.

I'm unaware of any other situations that would cause the music.vox file not to play. Maybe somebody else has a suggestion for deltamatrix to try?

How do you know it's not working? On lesser speakers and to people whos hearing isn't so good, it can be difficult to distinguish the MIDI soundtrack from the digital soundtrack. Press Ctrl+V in-game and see if it says "MUSIC.VOX enabled" in the message.

Would it be possible..

#65 Post by optic » Mon Feb 03, 2003 6:14 pm

Would it be possible to add that bit where the count has you pinned against the wall onto the Soundtrack Page? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> That bit scared me and the music added even more tension to the feeling! I started to calm down when I dropped the ring, as the music changed slower...

It'd be possible to add it to the Soundtrack Page? Whoever created the music for KQ2VGA would make great music for a movie! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

dwarf trap at bridge

#70 Post by Bevil » Tue Feb 11, 2003 1:19 pm

Tom, Is it possible to include in the soundtrack page, the music that plays when Graham gets trapped by the dwarf at the bridge? Its my third most favourite music piece in the game, after the tower realm and the sharkee king
themes.

thanks<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

If this is turning into a requests thread, I'll put up "Anastasia's" theme. Beautiful haunting innocence.

I would like to second the vote for Anastasia. Do I hear a third?
