I have the Birth Gem, but where is the air gem? I've searched everywhere but i can't solve that puzzle. NO SPOILERS please only hints, because you play these games only once.

The storekeeper left you something before leaving.

Actually, the shopkeeper doesn't give it to you, you just have to take it. The lamp you got triggers a flag that allows you to enter her hidden storage room, assuming you know how to open the way in there and that's where you get the item you need. The note from the lamp gives a clue on how to open the way.

Oh... I tried to open the door she went through, but it's locked. So there's a trap door in the shop that I could open? Alright. I'll try looking around. Thanks for the quick replies.
