I see what happened here. The Certificate in the middle wasn't by me I just threw that in there so that my name was one something. Also I meant 'A slight realization on my part' as in a slight realization by me. Not on my part in the project. I had no hand in that.
Sorry for the confusion.

There haven't been any new posts on this thread for a while and I'm sure that everyone is busy playing QFG2VGA, but I hope that we have not seen the last of all the great artwork here. It would greatly sadden me to see this thread die.

The art contest is coming up soon, where you'll have a chance to win a signed version of the Quest for Glory II poster. So, expect to see a lot more fan artwork in the near future!

* looks at the artwork covered desk a few posts back *

Oh thank god I'm not the only person that's become fairly obsessed with this.

Well I don't know where everyone else ran off too, but I went on a very unexpected family vacation to the middle of no where and and only had access to a computer when I went to help my sister move all her crap into her new apartment.
It was pretty terrible. My parents volunteered me to babysit my cousins who are monster children. They kept stealing my art book and demanding I draw them Disney channel characters I'd never heard of.
The worst part? I didn't get to finish QFG2 before I left. Dr. Nathan Mcbadass has been waiting patiently on day Nine for my return.
But that's why I haven't posted more art. I don't know Tye, Solarkid or Justluke's excuses.

Ugh sorry for the terrible scan, this scanner squished him but there's no photo editing program here to un-squish him. I'll fix it later.

Just been going through this thread (first time)... Lady Pyro, your sketches are incredible! I especially like those two thief ones, that Hollister colored in.

VERY impressive!

P.S. Have played "Team Fortress 2"? One of the classes you can play is "Pyro", and there are rumors it's a girl.... which I guess would make it a "lady pyro" :P

How soon? In other words, is the "coming this week" announcement on the Fans page going to be true this week, unlike last week?

Eh, I haven't done anything new simply because my free time was killed in a freak over-working - over-schooling accident.

I have done a few cave backgrounds for something coming up in the future though. ;)

Oh, and something completely unrelated.

So I just noticed the thread changed names and places and figured I'd drop a line to say I wont really be entering any of the art contests but will continue to post here if that's still okay. If not I can save any other fan art I have until after it's over, I don't mind.

Also, I just retired another sketchbook so I figured I'd flip through the plethora of QFG related crap and managed to find one thing sorta worth scanning.
(If you ignore the fact that you don't hold anything with a clenched fist I suppose it's not TERRIBLE, but I felt bad packing it all away without scanning something.)

Thanks!
A couple reasons that I admit, might sound kinda lame but seem reasonable to me.
First off, I already own most of the prizes being offered (at least according to the 'fan section'). Secondly I've been working on a few other projects and am due to start work again soon, so anything I entered wouldn't be anything of caliber (not that the above are exactly masterpieces, but it's about what I can churn out after a full day of other unrelated real drawings) and either wouldn't seem worth entering or wouldn't get finished at all.
I'm still enjoying the QFG fan art and all, but I doubt I could make a deadline right now and for a contest I'd really want to give it my all.
Sorry hope some of that made sense. :\

Thanks! And I agree, Hollister did a fantastic job.

No I don't play TF2 but I've seen enough of it that I wish I did. Unfortunately I have an addictive personality and purposely stay away from Online Gaming. But man that sounds right up my alley too!

Lady Pyro, you simply MUST enter some of these drawings into the contest! One can never have too many prizes. :D

Wow...just wow, I am loving all these art examples and should add to the fun with my own contributions eventually.

Oh and cheers to Kotskoets for making such a buff hero...I would hate to see what he would do to Issur ::smug::
