Also I wanted to thank you for all the nice pics Lady Pyro... It has inspired me to do some Hero art in my Illustrating classes (yes, I'm the creepy old guy in college ) and I hope to post some of it soon in the art thread. I never used to Troll forums before, but the people in these forums seem to be very supportive and all share a common love for the Classics

Hey this is my first post here and all il say is OMFG! i cant belive im hours away from playing QFG2. has it really been 8 years since the kings quest 2 remake wow some of us have been waiting a long time. lol im staying up all night if i have to i cant wait

Oh that's awesome you should totally post! I love to see other people's work and I'm thrilled that people are enjoying my 'art' so much!
I wish I'd gotten a few more years of college in, I only took a two year course in animation. It got me a job (for a while) but the industry is dead around here so now I'm stuck waiting on the bright side that means I should have more time to draw and hopefully will be able to give you guys some quality work soon!
I can't wait to see what the new wave of people will bring in too!

No. It really hasn't. It hasn't even been 8 years since the King's Quest 1 remake.

It is now 7:00 A.M. here in Albuquerque N.M. No game yet for once i am glad i live out here in the mountain time zone.
Just wondering is there anybody from Alaska or Hawaii that is registered to this board those people are probably really glad.
Would it be funny if the game comes out at 11:59 P.M. Hawaii time.

If there's one thing I learned from the debacle that was King's Quest 3 VGA's release, it's this.

You're not gonna get it on the day of release. Good luck trying to find a site that has it that hasn't crashed from all the traffic.

It's been a while and the dates are no longer on the website currently, but I believe KQ2 was released 5 or 6 years ago. KQ1 a couple years or so before that. Erpy, is that about right?

KQ1VGA was released on august the 8th 2001. KQ2VGA was released on december the 3th 2002. Work on QFG2VGA was restarted (after a long hiatus involving KQ2VGA) around may 2003.

so its been 7 years since KQ1VGA was relesed wow thats a long time ago man i cant wait

I actually went and got a decent night's sleep. I stayed up a little while to finish up my QfG1VGA preparations and then hit the sack for a good snooze.

I wonder if there is a problem. I thought the release would be like many others...you know right at 12:01 A.M. Maybe they are going for the 11:59 P.M. instead.

I really don't want to wade though the last handful of pages in this thread (or was it another?) to find where AGC1 or 2 said us fans would be enjoying the game "Sunday evening". So the assumption is it will be ready later in the day, afternoon (USA Pacific Time) at the earliest.

I'm so excited I'm damn near bubbly! (If you knew me in person you'd know how absolutely shocking that is.) I'm off to bed now and have a busy day tomorrow, but I'm so indescribably happy knowing that by the time I get home from work tomorrow night the game should be up and ready for download. I hope to enjoy this game when it finally... umm... "ships".
It looks like it will be the best QFG game ever with the best graphics and a good story.
I myself skipped this title and went from QFG I to III.

P.S. is it a coincidence or do the two characters on the flash intro of this site have a remarkable resemblance to the 2 "anonymous" game developers?

Quest for Glory 2 is my favorite out of the series. My next favorite is the fourth game.
