Stuck but don't want the puzzle completely given away? whether it's the Keapon Lafon mini-game or just dealing with an elemental this is the place to post if you're having a hard time with one of those nasty elementals this is the place to ask and I'm sure one of the forum vets will get back to you with a clue as quickly as they see it. This way we'll reduce the amount of threads for individual puzzles.

I can't legitimately get the bellows as a fighter because I already arm-wrestled the weaponsmith. How do I get them without using fetch or a magic rope?

Trying to be a Paladin here.

EDIT: Nevermind. Figured it out. I just had to fail to catch the air elemental once and it reset itself.

Issur might be more inclined to give you the bellows if he knew why you needed them.

You need to personally encounter an elemental before you can tell anyone about it in conversation.

I had personally encountered it, I just had to "try and catch it" with my hands.

So...I'm actually stuck on the Fire Elemental...the puzzle seems different then in the original. I can get it into the alleys, then use water on it, but I can't catch it...what am I supposed to do?

EDIT: Duh...I'm stupid...I had to put the lamp on the ground, THEN use the water >< I was using the water THEN the lamp...

The puzzle is the same as in the original. You need to place the appropriate container on the ground, either before or after weakening the fire elemental.

Does Dinarzad only have 2 jobs for you?

I went to dinarzad at the day 15, EARLY evening, and she offered me another job for 20 dinari.

The job is legit, but im upping some skills to get through it.

Anyone know of any other thief jobs besides this one?

from what I've read here there are 3 in Shapeir and one in Raseir

This bugged me in the original version, too... how exactly does one find Omar's purse? I can never seem to run into it.

It gets left behind after he finishes his poem in the plaza.

I seem to be having a problem getting the fruit off the tree. I've given her the earth elemental, the hug, told her about myself, given her water but still no fruit. I think I've given her everything Aziza has said.


Edit: Ah I got it, I had to go back and talk to Aziza before I could say her name and tell her about the elemental.

I can't get earth from Keapon. I write "air elemental", and he didn't tell me about it.

You may have to see the Air Elemental for yourself first. Also, make sure you're typing it into his Ask About parser.

Hi, I'm knew to Quest for Glory and I've enjoyed the game so far but I have a little probelm I can't solve.

I'm trying to talk to Aziza for the first time and I get into her house and sit down fine, but then she offers me tea and I can't figure out how to say yes. I clicked to talk to her and typed yes and I typed drink tea and tea and anything I could think of her, but she still says I'm rude and kicks me out no matter what I do.

I'm trying to do this thing without a walkthrough but I don't know how long I can hold off talking to her (I waited a while and tried again and now it's day three).

Try clicking the mouth icon on yourself when she offers you tea.

Yep. The only one I got away without seeing first was the Earth Elemental.

Actually, you don't need to see an elemental in order to ask about it, you just need to witness it in order to tell about it. That said, since Rocky can be a pest to find, you can tell some NPC's about him without having to look him up.

Witness what? I've witnessed a burnt down stand in the front plaza, but still can't ask anyone about the Fire Elemental.

You need to see the elemental itself. For the fire elemental, that's day 5. From the moment you walk into the plaza on that day, you can tell people about it to hear their reaction. Until then, they'll just use their default "that's interesting"-line.
