I thought I'd put up some of the events that were time sensitive.

Day 1:
Abudulla Doo lunches (Katta Tail Inn, day)
Invited to return the next day for first job (Moneychangers, day)
Rakeesh (Fighter's Plaza West, day)

Day 2:
Shih'had the Beggar (Gate Plaza, day)
Ali Fakir first appeared (Outside gate, day)
Ali the Agile appears, 5 Dinar bet (Fighter's Plaza West, day)
Sheema's first dance (Katta Tail Inn, night)
Get details of first thieving run (Moneychangers, sunset)
Thieving Run of Metalworker's House (Zrir Darb, midnight)

Day 3:
Shih'had the Beggar (Fountain Plaza South, day)
Get details of second thieving run (Moneychangers, day)
Omar's first poetry recital (Katta Tail Inn, night)

Day 4:
Ali Chica's fire (Gate Plaza, day) - last chance to buy from him
Ali the Agile appears, 10 Dinar bet (Fighter's Plaza West, day)
Free brass lamp (Fountain Plaza North, day) - after telling him about fire elemental
Free incense (Alchemist, day) - after telling him about fire elemental
Fire Elemental arrives (Gate Plaza, midnight)

Day 5:
Abudulla Doo lunches (Katta Tail Inn, day)

Day 6:

Day 7:
Fire Elemental destroys Shapier if undefeated (everywhere, sunrise)
Gain reward from Rakeesh (Adventurer's Guild, day) - returning reward gets you paladin points
Shih'had the Beggar (Gate Plaza, day)
Omar public poetry (Fountain Plaza South, day) - listen to his poetry and come back afterwards to find a dropped purse
Air Elemental arrives (Palace Plaza, midnight)

Day 8:
Saurus escapes first time (Gate Plaza, day)
Ali the Agile appears, 10 Dinar bet (Fighter's Plaza West, day)
Sheema's second dance (Katta Tail Inn, night)

Day 9:

Day 10:
Shih'had the Beggar (Gate Plaza, day)
Saurus escapes second time (Fighter's Plaza West, day) - when exiting Adventurer's Guild

Day 11:
Air Elemental destroys Shapier if undefeated (anywhere, sunrise)
Rakeesh lounges (Adventurer's Guild, day) - can acquire Soulforge from him
Omar's second poetry recital (Katta Tail Inn, night) - Omar will reward you for defeating elementals; opportunity to return purse
Earth Elemental arrives (alleys of Shapier, midnight)

Day 12:
Beast in Cage appears (desert, day) - Whirling Dervish requests a visit to solve a "puzzle"
Free powders of burning (Alchemist, day) - after telling him about earth elemental
Borrow Soulforge (Aventurer's Guild, day) - after asking about Sword
Learn about Julanar (Aziza's House, day) - must have defeated earth elemental

Day 13:
Receive note from EOF (Adventurer's Guild, day)

Day 14:
Earth Elemental destroys Shapier if not defeated (anywhere, sunrise)
Water Elemental arrives (Fountain Plaza, sunrise)
Abudulla Doo lunches (Katta Tail Inn, day)

Day 15:
Invited to visit Aziza's the following day (Katta Tail Inn, day)
Shih'had the Beggar (Gate Plaza, day)
Second note from EOF (Adventurer's Guild, day)
EOF initiation (EOF Hall, night)

Day 16:
Water Elemental destroys Shapier if not defeated
Aziza's meeting, Third Saurus escape (Aziza's House, day)
Rakeesh Combat request (Adventure Guild, day)
Omar's final poetry recital (Katta Tail Inn, night) - Omar will reward you for defeating elementals; opportunity to return purse

Day 17:
Off to Rasier!

Shihhad the begger doesn't appear on day 1 as far as I know. Also, you get three notes from EOF...one on day 13, one on day 14 and one on day 15. Agi the Agile also appears several times more, as long as you don't beat him 3 times.

Not sure what this is used for yet, but you can put it on top of the cupboard in your room.

Does Agi the Agile only show up for thieves?
I've played a Wizard and Fighter, both up to day 7.
And neither character saw Agi the Agile anywhere.

He only shows up if you have the climbing skill.

... Uhura specifically mentions that Rakeesh is meeting with the Sultan that day. And, you can't get Soulforge until after the Earth Elemental appears (midnight, end of day 11).

Honor points, I believe only.

I finished with 550/500 on my Paladin and never returned the reward for the fire elemental.

Yeah, you get 5 Paladin Points for returning Soulforge without being asked, not the reward. It's a nice Honor boost, though.

I managed to do the same, and I never knew that you could return the reward. Maybe it's that I usually play as a thief, but the idea of *gasp*(oh the horror!) giving the money back never occured to me. Sometimes I even steal Omar's money before I give him his purse back. Errr... I mean the purse that was totally empty when I found it *looks innocent*.

l think the julnaar thing is off because I have learned about her from Aziza long before the day listed, then again, I have visited the tree lady before. I guess if you have not met the tree lady yet, she is mentioned to you on that day?

Her topic is activated if you find her grove or if you find the caged beast, speak to Harik about it, learn about a dispel potion and then about the fruit of compassion.

Well, with this outline of hints and a vague memory of what to do from playing a few years ago, I managed to make Paladin and score maximum points. I also managed to run across the current Stamina over maximum glitch (game vers 1.0). Maybe the "combat" with the statue makes your stamina regenerate (and not be limited by the max?).
