Omar in the fountain plaza
On which days and at what time Omar is suppose to show up at the Fountain Plaza? If I recall correctly, he show up two times in the game, right?
Speaking of Omar, nice touch having Shema sit by Shameen at the inn during Omar's lecture. I also notice for the Shema's tail being longer than the EGA version.

Omar only shows up in the plaza on day 7.
And yes, Katta now have QFG1VGA-like tails.

Alright it's not day 7, yet so I still have time. Thanks for the reply.
Re: Omar in the fountain plaza
Well I got to day 7 and he was there. But he didn't leave his purse when I left and came back.
I am a magic user but I was able to become a paladin as a magic user in the original. Did you guys stop this in your version?

You must wait for Omar to complete his poem in order for the purse to appear. If you leave the plaza before he finishes, he won't drop it. This is the way it worked in the original.
Any class can become a Paladin in the remake, provided you didn't perform too many dishonorable or disqualifying actions.

In other words, a Paladin-Thief can't reach 550 points at the end of the game, but a Paladin-Wizard can (as well as a Paladin-Fighter, obviously).Anonymous Game Creator 2 wrote:Any class can become a Paladin in the remake, provided you didn't perform too many dishonorable or disqualifying actions.

The easiest way to tell when Omar is finished is by looking at the fountain. You will notice that the fountain has stopped running water while Omar is reading his poem. But will start running water again when he is done. At least that was the way it worked on the EGA version not sure about the remake yet.

I still find that funny. You can go ahead and rob people take away their life savings, but as long you don't kill or be violent to them you can become a Paladin... I'm trying to see the logic chain for that one...

What game are you playing? If you steal from the Break-In house, Khaveen, Omar, and probably anyone else (not sure about Issur and the new thief mission yet), you cannot become a Paladin. They've even added more disqualifiers this time around!techie775 wrote:I still find that funny. Erpy told me yu don't get any points for the new house as it's been added but I think you have to break into the first to to be able to enter the third. Even if you don't have to I'm thinking you can do everything in the new house and not be disqualified but I have yet to try it. (Or even play as a non thief)
