if you use the wishes to push your skills over 200? Or does it cause problems with the game?

thanks

Nope. You can reach a maximum of 250 on two skills if you wish for them.

In fact, doing so can be more advantageous than you might be aware.

for example - as a thief, if you can max your agility to 250 it makes the final rope crossing a lot less painful

Actually, the fighter doesn't get those treats because certain skills went over 200...he gets them because those skills are raised by the djinni. Kinda like a buy one, receive two kind of deal. Theoretically it's possible to get the quadruple slash before the triple slash. :)

I often boost Climbing and/or Luck since they are royal pains to boost in QfG3. Any advantages for either of those reaching 250?

No. You get an additional move to help you in the two final battles if you raise stats important to the fighter. That said, with 250 luck, you're pretty much guaranteed to do a lunge each time you jump back.

Yeah when I finally played the original, I looked ahead to a QfG3 FAQ to figure out what to boost and chose those as well.
