ergh...Tree not working?! Bug? or did I screw up?

So earlier on in the game I went to the tree -- told her the story and gave her some water (before I knew I knew I had to have the earth elemental) (She turned around and looked at me)

Then, I realized I needed the earth, went back to the tree after I defeated the elemental, gave her the earth and a hug...nothing. When I try and talk to her it says 'Greet' and then I click it...nothing. I tried watering again...it won't let me say anything to her...

Did I screw it all up?

and I've spoken to Aziza about her...but maybe I need to go back to Aziza and talk to her again...going to try that..

You need to click the mouth on yourself to tell her things.

Talk to Aziza about her, or you can't complete it.

Basically:

Well I know I've gone to aziza's about the tree multiple times before I got the earth elemental cause I wanted to boost my honor, but I shouldn't have to go back and talk to about it afterwards if I've already done it before. I did the first three steps and it won't let do anymore.

Aziza hasn't told you everything yet. Go back and talk to her again now that you've got everything. HINT: Your character still doesn't know her name.

Thanks I thought you could ask Harik at any time about the components in the original and I forgot when aziza said julnar's name...

So is getting her to grow fruit the last thing you do with her other than telling Harik about her? Cuz when I tell Harik he says something about a dispel potion and when you ask him about the dispel potion he says he has a recipe but questions whether I really need it. I thought I could get the potion and dispel her or does Harik do this sometime in between 2 and 5.

You don't dispel her. The dispel potion is something else. When you left town on day 12, didn't the guard tell you someone wanted to see you?

In Quest for Glory 3, you tell the tree-hugging hippy alchemist about Julanar and he heads up to Shapier to meet her, and presumably he works to cure her.

OK that's right I was thinking that it was Harik and Julanar in Silmeria, my bad.
