I have university and college; I guess I don't really want a spoiler,. just sort of a really obvious pointer in the right direction. Its supposed to be the journey is the adventrue not the end, but I really don't have a start point other than some litter in my inventory

Perhaps we can post what *didn't* work. I was thinking about "What would Jesus do?" Well, honestly, if Jesus found a discarded pizza box on the ground, he'd throw it away. Alas, clicking the pizza box on any of the (many) empty barrels in the city does nothing.

I'm fairly confident I've been passed every grate in the city now; both floor-sewer grates and the big iron door grates
I've walked along Mwai and Naufara [Water and Fountain] streets and havnt cought much, except those packs of crates outside the empty door.

I purchased bread (and everything else ) from Sloree and... I forget the name of the other food merchant, and that did get me a QFG2 game box, but nothing else.

I've tried "pizza" as a conversation topic via parser with near everyone to no avail. Same with Box.
Pizza, elements, and pizza elemental did not go over well with Aziza.

Also I checked every door on Marrib Darb just off the graffiti that mentioned a good time on there. /
There's an abundance of grates [which im sure are irrelevant] on Wahir darb, which if you walk west on takes you to Junub Tarik [Walk West Junub Tarik was a potential thing i was thinking of] but they seem to mean nothing.

Theres a grate you can st and inside of on Trab Darb, as already discussed.

OK, since it seems the thread is getting closer, the question remains: How the heck do you beat this thing? It seems impossible, even if I survive the falling attacks, he eats me no matter what my health is, I'm supposed to eat HIM, not the other way around.

At least please tell me if I'm supposed to get some secret weapon or something before meeting him, I've already turned the skill and the speed of the game all the way down and it seems just impossible. I'm playing with a wizard, in case it matters.

BTW, BUG: I'm just looking at my Out of shape? death screen and suddenly this message pops up "The tingling sensation is gone..." (yeah, I tried the undead unguent against the elemental, I'm desperate). I guess this should not appear, you know, being already dead and everything...

It might be helpful if the rest of us knew how to find the elemental in the first place. Perhaps we are over thinking the problem or not, but the majority of us are still not there yet. All I know is that i have a character with all my stats maxed just for this.

The "Doom from the East" message is indeed the hint. I actually had guessed part of the solution myself, until the "turtle" post threw me on the wrong track!

Pizza Elemental sighted on day 7! (Thanks to Haradan.) Now, the question remains: how to fight him?

So the gate with eyes was a red haring?

The Full Quote was "The Doom from the East has passed and is now between here and Infinity" Funny enough when i first read this, I though Conan the Barbarian and Thulsa Doom. The Infinity was the oasis pool, so it had to be east of the Oasis.
