Saurus Natural Homing Instinct

This is not really a bug but more of an observation, in the original game when you told your Saurus to "Go Home" the Saurus would always go the wrong way and return on the opposite side of the city view from which you were on.
Example:
From the city overview you go to the left, you tell the Saurus to "Go Home" and it would go to the left again, and when it appears on again on the city overview, it would come from the right hand side it.

Oh yeah, I did verify this on the original game.

I have completed the Fighter and the Magic User.
Yesterday, while playing my Thief, I noticed you can actually call out for your Saurus when you lose him in the desert. Amazing!

Can you actually do that in the original version? I must have been living in ignorance all this while.

when you're mounted, click the mouth icon on yourself..


At one point, I was able to 'call for saurus' but I can't figure out how to trigger this anymore.

You can only call your saurus when the game difficulty slider is set to easy.
