Climbing problem?

#1 Post by GuJiaXian » Mon Sep 01, 2008 4:48 am

My climbing skill is 87, I believe. When I try to climb the griffon's cliff, I'm told that I'm too experienced (the cliff flares out at the top, yadda yadda). However, when I try to climb the tree at the oasis, I'm told I'm not experienced enough. Where can I practice to get ready to tackle the tree?

Got a rope? Ask Keapon Laffin.

Just keep on trying at the tree in the Oasis, your skill will improve and you will be able to climb it after a few tries (at least, I could, with a similar starting climb skill)

Okay, sounds good--I'll keep at the tree. I do have the rope (even though I'm a fighter), but my understanding is that it has limited uses.

As a fig hter you don't theoretically need it to complete the game so it may be worth a bit of practice on

Yes the rope has limits but you could always buy another rope and practice climbing. In fact if you have enough money you could keep buying ropes to help practice climbing.
