Anything like the Goblins?
Is there anywhere in the remake to reliably find a fight with a jackalman or a brigand?

Well there's always the hallway puzzle, but that wont get you the money you're looking for.
Just remember almost every enemy in the game has some way of giving you money

I've maxed out my sales of scorpion tails and ghoul claws, so I'm down to just the jackalmen and brigands.pikaporeon wrote:Well there's always the hallway puzzle, but that wont get you the money you're looking for.

You still lacking for cash? Even for mages, it's not THAT expensive to max out your stats. And you can't take it with you into QFG3, so unless you want to stock up on healing pills (which DO carry over) there's not much point to being rich.ulmont wrote:I've maxed out my sales of scorpion tails and ghoul claws, so I'm down to just the jackalmen and brigands.pikaporeon wrote:Well there's always the hallway puzzle, but that wont get you the money you're looking for.

2) I have a serious drug addiction to feed.
3) I want to stock up on healing and mana pills, yes.
Re: Anything like the Goblins?
Well, the best combat tip I can give is bump the difficulty slider to the max, it greatly increases your odds of an encounter.
Re: Anything like the Goblins?
Actually, it does not and it might be a bad idea, since you can't change the difficulty slider while there's a monster chasing you.
Re: Anything like the Goblins?
My recipe is this: sneak left and right between two desert screens, and switch to walking or throw some attack when you find something you want to fight.
Re: Anything like the Goblins?
I had already tried it and not seen any difference. What you can change, it turns out, is the game speed...so I sneak back and forth from screen to screen on fast speed and shift to very slow to get that fine precision dagger aim.Erpy wrote:Actually, it does not and it might be a bad idea, since you can't change the difficulty slider while there's a monster chasing you.

Really? Well I guess I just have weird luck then.Erpy wrote:Actually, it does not and it might be a bad idea, since you can't change the difficulty slider while there's a monster chasing you.
I had the difficulty on Hard, walked to the Oasis then to the caged beast and had seven random encounters. Put it on Easy on the trip back with the dispel potion and not a single one. Must have just been chance then.

Plus, blinging out my room at the inn cost a lot.Goilveig wrote:You still lacking for cash?
