I saw it at the oasis, but I can't seem to find it again. Does it only show up once a game? or on certain days?

I think that if you attempt to get it and fail, its gone for good.

I think it is certain to show up either when you visit the oasis for the first time or the first time when you visit the oasis with empty bellows.

Thanks for the hint, Spikey! I usually don't visit the oasis until day 12 or so, well after the air elemental is in the bag, so I'd been having trouble finding our little blue Kermit here.

Hmm, really? Whenever I visited the Oasis after capturing the Air Elemental in the bellows, I got nada, but the frog showed up the very first try when I went there with an ordinary un-elemented bellows.

I've seen it multiple times even before getting the bellows to begin with.

I'm sure you can see the frog before getting the bellows; I was just saying that I had had trouble spotting it after defeating the Air Elemental. Specifically around day 12, when going to the oasis for the first time.

Really? Is it's appearance decided as you enter the screen? I have a savegame, on midmorning day 4. When I wait until night, get the bellows, and go to the oasis in the morning it shows up. Tried it 5 times. Could be a coincidence of course. I didn't try it without the bellows or anything.

Does it show up again after setting it free in the oasis?

So you need "un-elementaled" bellows to capture it? That might be why I don't see him anymore....oh well, now I have an excuse to play through with my wizard from QFG1...
