You know, Fighters actually get an axe in QfG4 rather than QfG5, so that line might be a little off. Unfortunately, there's no way to know for certain whether or not the character will be a Fighter or a Paladin by QfG4. In that regard, going with QfG5 certainly makes sense.
You gotta love all the little tributes to future titles in this game though.
