It's been a long time, and I know I've been a stranger in a not so fine way, but I still wanted to congratulate you guys on the release! I got the newsletter, and am quite glad I did. I have yet to play it, but so far it looks terrific. So...congratulations!

Thanks Sir Elthil. It's always a big compliment to hear talented artists say a game looks good. :)

I think you did a great job with it! Spent half of my sorely weekend on it, and probably will more! Excellent work on getting it into a graphic system, and huzzah for the awesome combat!

Oh yeah, hi SE! Glad to see you're enjoying the remake. I still remember making Hero6 sprites with you till the wee hours of the morning, so you'll probably have a good idea of all the animation work that went into this. Ah, good times. :D

Ah! yes! You two kept that art forum so busy... heh! I remember that we in the art department only realized months later that the rest of Hero6 was in a stand-still. LOL!

Wow! that was about 10 years ago now!

AGD2, the amount of animations in QfG2 is really scary! Great job. :)

Well, considering that YOU made a whole bunch of them, I think you should be patting your own back too, Gron. :D

Yeah, I've done a few. :) But compared to the amount you've done by the time I came aboard, mine seem almost insignificant!
Too bad SE had her studies... would have been fun to have those big 'marathons' for hours on end like we used to with the sprites. :)
(Only difference being that we're MUCH better than back then!)

I have played many of the sierra adventure over the years many of them as soon as they were released for sale. I was very excited when I first found out that a remake of quest for glory 2 was beening made and hoped that it would be a great remake. Unfortunately that was not the case with this game. I have played through this remake several times with each character type and besides the update graphics and a few new additions this game overall is not that good for the amount of time I had to wait for it to be released. I guess I just expected more from for it. So over all I have to give this remake a D. sorry and I hope you try harder with your next project.

Then maybe you were expecting way too much. We promised a 1:1 remake and we delivered a lot more than that. If you told yourself that the game would feature 100 extra sidequests, 5 extra character classes and a complete story overhaul, then I suppose it was a disappointment, but we never promised that to begin with.

And I hope you try harder with the spelling in your next post. Get back on those drugs.
