SWORDS=0

I've just upgraded to Quest for Glory to v1.1 (lost an unlockable in the process :cry). I'm now playing around in Shapeir, and at Issur Shop, I just looked at the rightmost trophy (a shield?). For some strange reason, after the description I get a pop up telling me that "SWORDS = 0", and thought about reporting it.

Oh, by the way, I've had whole fun playing with my fighter (now paladin), I'll try to write some kind words about the remake later. Thank you very much! :D

Darn. I knew it was going to be something like this when I opened the topic. That's a debug message I accidentally left in there after fixing a bug regarding buying a new sword.

Any published programmer knows that big 'oops' feeling when they realized they left such a message in their program. How embarassing... But to the player, it can be kind of cool sometimes.

It's a bit like a treasure hunt, really. Also, the bugs I've found so far are awesome. ;)

Other times I'm not so sure if it's a bug or not. For example, when you ask Keapon Laffin the price of a Magic Rope, he tells a funny joke about them usually costing 12500 centimes, but that as a special offer they cost 125 dinars for a limited time (which is the same price, specified in different coins). The first playthrough I didn't get the joke because I asked him the price AFTER having bargained down to 119, so the values didn't match and his special offer really looked like an special offer.

Wait, did he say 12500 centimes AFTER bargaining him down to 119 dinars, or did he say 11900? If it's the former, it's an oversight. Otherwise, it was a concious decision to keep his joke consistent even if the price was haggled down.

It's the former. I've tried it now and it still happens on 1.1
