If the points you are missing are Paladin Points and not score points, you can try restoring and rejecting paladinhood, that should unlock the debug mode (if you end up with 500 points, that is).

i see you have same problem 542/550 paladin pts i didnt found omar's purse, so there are those 8 points. You just need to refuse paladinhood and you will have 500/500 and that will unlock battle mode. For Debug mode, u need to have a blue frog in your inventory while you are playing second time. This worked for me. I dont know if i need to have all skills maxed, but i didnt have them.

Nah, they are score points. I forgot to get the fire elemental reward from Rakeesh (too busy grinding spells in the desert, probably) for three points, and dunno what I missed for the last 5.

So ok, yeah, did the reverse thing (500/500 with not all stats or spells maxed, but with the blue frog in inventory) and successfully unlocked the blue frog mode.
