Back when I was much younger, I wrote a letter to Lori and was very suprised when I recieved a reply a couple of months later. I found her letter while digging up some old stuff at my parents house recently, and thought I would post it for you guys.

cheers

Dan

Indeed. I wonder if the Hero6 crew or Corby has seen this letter.

I have two letters from the Coles stashed away somewhere. I think I posted their contents here a few years ago. One was written to me after Trial by Fire came out, and the other right after Wages of War was released. Both contain some interesting nostalgia-type info. I just remember being a huge Sierra fan and wow! these people are actually responding to me with personal letters. It was a big deal to me at the time, and I still remember it.

Wow, that's really cool! I remember back when I was playing the Kings Quest games we didn't have the internet, and everytime we got stuck we'd have to write a letter to the company and they'd send back clues as to how to go further.

Except, by the time we finally got the letter, often times we had gotten past that area haha. I'd say that was probably back in 1995 or 96.

I wrote a letter to Roberta Williams in 1995 pitching an idea for King's Quest 8...

I was 11 years old and she wrote back thinking I was in my 20's. I wonder if it's in one of those boxes I never unpacked after I moved for the Nth time.

Game developers have usually always been real down to earth people who know how to talk to their fans!
