Am I crazy?

1. I thought I saw a guy jump over the roof near Aziza's house. This happened shortly after I picked up the pizza box. Anyone else see this? Who is the guy?

2. Another mystery, I cast detect magic near Rani Tarik and find that magic exists but I can't figure out what I am detecting. Same thing on another street on my map.

I searched the threads for these topics but could not find an answer.

The guy is probably the Prince of Persia, on his second game he must escape from the guards by jumping from the roofs. You have just found an easter egg.

About the second one, I think is something you'll discover by yourself later in the game, there's no need to spoil you yet. ;)

1. Thanks. I remember that game :)
2. It is Day 14 have I missed the magic? Like I said, I played the game in its original form and I don't remember this!

If you didn't know what the magical arrows in the streets revealed by Detect Magic meant, how did you find WIT?

Well, maybe wdatlantis kept casting Detect Magic at every dead end. :p

So is there something to be found on Rani Tarik?

Are the arrows simply directing me to WIT??? Rani Tarik is nowhere near WIT.
On Rani Tarik the blue arrow is pointing past an iron gate and since I did not pick the classic alley way system I assume that this means something important is on this street.
All of the other alleyways contain something important (ie. EOF, Dinarzad, etc).

The arrows you see in every street point to WIT's general direction and the idea was to use them to locate the place where WIT's entrance was. (they point in the general direction, not which street you gotta take to get there) In the complex system, you definitely needed those arrows if you weren't reading ahead in walkthroughs since there were lots of dead-end alleyways containing nothing.
