A little combat help

#1 Post by Dr. Spengler » Sat Dec 06, 2008 3:09 am

Now, I know that the mouse is no good in this remake of the game. I know that it takes use of the numeric keypad. However, I think I may be missing something critical with this keypad format. I've read the instructions. However, no matter how hard I try with the keypad, I still seem to lose the battle, the war, and my life.

What can I do?

I'm embarrassed to admit but I forgot to active number lock and it took me a while to figure out that the reason I was losing the battles was because my keypad was inactive!

Other than that, just keep practicing.

Did you try the tutorial with Uhura?

Other than that, you'll have to be a little more specific as to what you're having trouble with. Oh, and your character starts out weak so stats matter too.

I can try the schooling part if I need it.

Speaking of which, how can I end the lesson's abruptly if I need to end the game abruptly?

If you really want to end the game abruptly, press alt-X. Usually, it's better to simply finish the tutorial and then save and quit.
