Griffin QUestion

Hi, Im one of those board lurkers that comes up for a Silly question from time to time. :-D
I have managed to fight the Griffin two of the three times necessary to kill it, but I cant get it to appear the last time. Is there any secret to this or am I just going to have to be persistant?

Thanks, it looks like the Griffin wont show until the water elemental day, its ok though, I think I beat every monster in the game now.
Oh, besides Rakeesh, Shema, and Shameen, who else likes to eat P.E.? I love to share :-D

Sharaf and Shihhad do. You might wanna hold on to at least one slice though.

There's at least one other, but in that case, giving a slice is equivalent to giving a ration.
I petitioned for a six-slice pizza in subsequent releases to share with everyone, but Erpy shot me down.
